The Karon Water Project.

We are implementing the project as one way of mitigating Climate Change.

Three rivers in Karon Village dried up. An an entire village of over 3000 households and over 10 schools among them St. Bakhita Girls have no access to water.

Karon village is in the heart and basement of the Great Rift Valley sandwiched between rugged terrain difficult to access.

The local communities are pastoralist so even the goats, cows and camels have mo access to drinking water so there is conflict for water resources.

With water we can do irrigation to produce food, improve sanitation and control Typhoid which is prevalent in the village.
